Research

During my time at San Jose State University (SJSU) and UC Santa Cruz (UCSC) I completed a number of projects that I believe demonstrate my abilities to research, study, and meet user needs. I present them in chronological order with the oldest first.

• MyUCSC Student Portal Evaluation and Redesign - Used card sorting, user surveys, and application of HCI design principles to build and test a high-fidelity prototype replacement for the UCSC student portal.
• Yelp.com Heuristic Evaluation and User Study - Combined user surveys, heuristics, and usability tests to evaluate how well Yelp's site and services served users' needs and to judge the usability of those services.
• GoToWebinar Usability Test and Report - Conducted and reported on a usability study of the GoToWebinar website and software user experience.
